chocolatey chip cookies
So continuing with the cookie theme, I GOT SILICONE BAKING SHEETS :D And they are the best. It's possible that this was a self-fulfilling prophecy, but these cookies turned out quite nice on the new baking sheets. They actually expanded a lot more than they usually do (so they stuck together a bit oops). Might not be the most beautiful cookies but they sure are chocolatey and yummy! And no harm in some ice cream on the side :)
Things you need: 1 cup butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup light brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup chocolate chips |
Things you do: 1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF. 2. Combine the butter and white and brown sugars in a large mixing bowl.If you're doing it by hand, a fork usually works pretty well in mixing it until it's smooth. 3. Add in the eggs and vanilla and stir them in. 4. Pour in the chocolate chips and work them into the wet mixture. 5. Sift in the flour and baking soda and salt. The final mixture should be pretty sticky...enough that you won't want to use your hands :P 6. Line your baking trays with aluminum foil (OR SILICONE BAKING SHEETS :D) or leave them ungreased. Scoop out tablespoon-sized balls of dough and lay them on the tray with 1-2 in. in between. 7. Bake for about 8 minutes, rotating racks or turning them around about halfway through. 8. Get your milk ready and TA-DAAA! Cookiess :) |

If you're really in it for the chocolate chips, you can always add more :) |
