Hi friends :)
Margaret here. I'm glad that you stopped by :) A little bit about me, as of now (2018), I've graduated from Rutgers and am in the middle of my gap year. Instead of going into medicine, I've decided to pursue a career in education. I'll hopefully be going to grad school this coming year.
In my (now) 22 years of living, I have discovered that teaching makes learning fun, idle hands are the unfavored side of equilibrium, and God's will is always done. I've learned that I love chocolate and pugs and long hikes and that I don't like cilantro or caterpillars or when things are dirty. In my free time you can find me in the kitchen, or on my bed, or (if you're lucky) at the gym.
To be very honest, my interest in baking wasn't very well defined until the latter half of my high school career, when bake sales took over my life. But ever since, it's become a hobby, and an excellent way to make friends :P And it was actually these friends (praise Jesus for them) whose support and enthusiasm gave me reason to start this blog. And also another excuse to bake, of course.
Even though baking is fun and often rewarding, I believe you can never bake for no reason, that everything you make and do has a purpose and story. So this blog is a place for me to build a repertoire of stories and the the things I make and hopefully pique your interest in reading my random thoughts and wisdom gained as I try to figure out the great mystery that is life. Still got a long way to go in this story of mine, and I'm happy you can take part in it :)
For those who are curious, prior to 2017, I used my dear old Nikon D60 to capture all my photos. Courtesy of Christmas, I now have a Sony a6000 :)
